You will handle both planned and reactive maintenance in a commercial environment, ensuring efficient operation of electrical systems. Required qualifications include City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 and 18th Edition certification. This is a temp role offering £25 per hour with a shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off.

Job Description Electrical Shift Engineer – FM Service Provider – Fitzrovia, London - Ongoing temp - 4 On 4 Off Days Shift

Overview

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join an established building services company based in Fitzrovia, London. These roles are situated within a commercial office environment, where you will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance as part of an experienced maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• 4on 4off Days Shift
• Hours: 07:00 – 19:00 Ongoing temp
• £25 per hour
• Small electrical installations, fault-finding, and lighting maintenance
• Emergency lighting testing
• Control panel maintenance
• Replacing ballasts
• Monitoring the Building Management System (BMS) for heating and cooling systems
• General M&E and fabric maintenance
• Logbook updates and compliance reporting
• Basic plumbing tasks (e.g. unblocking toilets)
• Maintenance of pumps, motors, and other building systems

Requirements

• City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installations
• 18th Edition qualification
• Ability to provide copies of relevant trade certificates
• Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled with a proactive, hands-on approach
• Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
