Job description
Overview

Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault-finding and maintenance of all site equipment and machinery. You will work on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems. You\'ll need to be an electrically biased engineer and able to commute to our Keele site daily. You will be working a Continental 4 on 4 off shift pattern, (06:30 am - 6:30 pm and 6:30 pm - 06:30 am).

Qualifications / Skills
  • Electrical engineering skills are essential
  • Siemens plc experience is highly desirable
  • JIB 18th edition qualified
  • PLC fault finding and diagnostic skills (programming experience would be a distinct advantage)
  • Team player with an attention to detail
  • Knowledge of HSE regulations & requirements
  • Computer literate with excellent communication skills
