Job description

As an eCommerce Trading Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of search and findability, becoming a key stakeholder in driving innovation and impact! You'll work closely with the Womenswear product team while also leading the wider Womenswear trade team to elevate attribution strategies. As you build deep expertise in Search, Navigation, Sort Orders, SEO, and Attribution, you'll use this knowledge to influence high-impact trading decisions. You will analyse performance metrics, user behaviour, and customer insights to uncover growth opportunities and improve the sales funnel. Your insights will be critical in providing weekly sales performance updates and in‑week trading actions to maximise sales potential and drive continuous improvement. What else is involved?

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate across divisional and Search & Findability teams, leading projects to drive key KPIs.
  • Monitor performance metrics including conversion, traffic, search terms, and funnel performance.
  • Provide regular trading updates and actionable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, user behaviours, and areas for optimisation.
  • Review and test sort orders to improve commercial performance; QA new algorithms before launch.
  • Partner with product teams to resolve Search & Findability queries and share relevant updates.
  • Lead on attribution accuracy, owning synonyms and rules while pushing for AI‑led enhancements.
  • Work with SEO teams to optimise for Google rankings and create a roadmap of SEO improvements.
  • Use traffic and conversion data to inform marketing spend and on‑site experience improvements.
  • Contribute to navigation testing and implementation alongside Data Science and Content teams.
  • Ensure commercial QA of new tests and initiatives.
  • Share learnings and optimisation strategies across teams and international sites.
  • Act as the customer's voice – identify and raise issues, suggest testing ideas, and refine UX.
  • Escalate and resolve Search & Findability issues with support teams when needed.
  • Stay up to date with new tools, data, and features in Bloomreach; lead the platform relationship.
  • Remain adaptable and proactive, responding to changing priorities with a learning mindset.
Qualifications
  • Experience of working within an eCommerce Trading / Online Merchandising role at management level.
  • Good understanding of analytics, user behaviour and eCommerce trends.
  • Experience in working collaboratively and being a good team player.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement changes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Positive attitude towards learning and building knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for fashion product.
  • A customer‑centric mindset – always thinking what is best for the customer.
