Job summary

A leading education recruitment agency is seeking a motivated EYFS Teaching Assistant to support a school in Keighley, England. In this role, you will assist the class teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children, help develop their communication and social skills, and provide personal care support. We are looking for candidates with a proven passion for Early Years education, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to inspire young learners. This role offers the opportunity for long-term or short-term contracts based on your availability.

The Role - EYFS Teaching Assistant

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant working through Academics, you will :

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Assist in the development of children's communication, language, and social skills.
  • Provide support with personal care routines, including toileting, dressing, and hygiene, ensuring children's comfort and wellbeing.
  • Help with observations and assessments to track children's progress.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that inspires curiosity and independence.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to build strong foundations for each child's education.
