A training organization is looking for an Early Years Skills Coach/Tutor in Manchester/West Yorkshire. Early Years Skills Coach/Tutor - Manchester/West Yorkshire

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000

Location: Manchester/West Yorkshire, home based but travel to learners workplace is required

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Early Years Skills Coach/Tutor to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in inspiring and supporting apprentices as they work towards their qualifications. From delivering dynamic training sessions to providing one-to-one coaching and assessment, you’ll be instrumental in guiding learners towards success.

What You’ll Do:
  • Deliver engaging and interactive group training sessions, including induction
  • Support apprentices through one-to-one coaching and workplace visits
  • Assess and provide feedback on apprentices’ portfolios
  • Deliver English and maths Functional Skills up to Level 2
  • Monitor progress, set challenging targets, and help learners achieve their goals
  • Maintain high levels of apprentice attendance, retention, and achievement
What We’re Looking For:
  • A background in Early Years with at least two years’ experience in the sector within the last three years
  • Experience delivering training to 16+ learners and adults
  • A passion for coaching, mentoring, and supporting apprentices to reach their full potential
  • A Level 3 Teaching Qualification (or willingness to achieve within six months)
  • A TAQA or equivalent assessor qualification (or willingness to achieve within six months)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and engaging approach
  • As this is a peripatetic role, you’ll need a full driving licence and access to a car, as training will take place across employer locations.
