Early Years Practitioner (25/425)

£23,750 FTE (£12,837.83 pro rata per annum)

20 hours per week

Location: Little Stars Day Nursery

Fixed term maternity cover until the 21st January 2027, or upon return of the substantive post holder

About the role

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Level 2/3 Early Years Educator to join our friendly team within a very busy established nursery. You must have a full and relevant level 2/3 qualification in Early Years. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children from birth to five year’s old and enhancing their learning and development.

You will be a key person to a group of children responsible for planning, report writing, observing and supporting all children and their needs. Experience of Tapestry is also beneficial.

The person will need to be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a large setting, prioritising workloads and managing tasks.

About the person
  • Full Level 2/3 Early Years qualification that is full and relevant.
  • Safeguarding qualification is desirable as is SEN training, paediatric first aid and food hygiene.
  • Versatile communicative skills such as verbal, written and being able to converse in different situations.
  • Professionalism within everything you do.
  • Good sense of humour and a fun, bubbly personality.
