Details
  • Title: Early Years Instructor
  • Contract: Seasonal holiday work available in Easter, Summer and other half term holidays.
  • Hours: 8:30am‑5:30pm weekdays. Full time or part time roles available and additional hours available for staff that hold a paediatric first aid qualification (usually 8am‑6pm).
Summary of Position
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of the children.
  • Deliver outstanding structured activities (sports, arts, play) to the Early Years children at Ultimate Activity Juniors.
  • Work alongside the Early Years Leader to ensure activities follow the EYFS requirements for learning and development with an emphasis on participation.
  • Take on a pastoral role as a key contact for the 4 and 5 year olds camp providing high quality care.
Essential Requirements
  • Experience of working with children and delivering activities.
  • Passionate about developing children through play and activity.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • A flexible team player able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges on camp.
  • Someone looking for a rewarding holiday job whilst furthering their career in the childcare and coaching industry.
Desirable Requirements
  • Experience working with Early Years aged children delivering the EYFS.
  • Qualified to Level 2 in childcare or Early Years or working towards a degree level qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. Primary Education or Early Years).
  • Hold a Paediatric First Aid (12 or 6 hour) or First Aid at Work qualification.
