EA Team Leader – Financial Services – Mayfair

Salary: Competitive salary dependent on experience (80K - 90K plus discretionary bonus)

The Client:

A unique opportunity to join one of VWA's long-standing clients, a boutique leading European investment firm. The firm fosters an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture and is seeking an experienced EA and Team Leader to proactively lead and manage a team of Assistants.

EA Team Leader Role:

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join an established and successful firm as the EA Team Leader and proactively manage a team of 10+ Assistants combined with providing support to a small investment team. Responsibilities include however not limited to the following:

  • Lead performance for the Assistant team, including objective setting and conducting reviews and continuous development for the of the team
  • Managing the Assistant employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding and exiting.
  • Administration management including short and long term cover for absences
  • Managing team budgets, organising events in addition to relevant training.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and act as point of contact for Investment Professionals and the business.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and peers on team objectives and facilitate ad hoc projects.
  • Supporting a small investment team with diary, travel and expense management.
The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Previous Team Leader and Assistant experience working within a fast paced financial services environment.
  • Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and effective relationship building skills.
  • Advanced MS Office skills and desire to learn new programmes and tools with a tech savvy approach.
Additional Information:
  • Competitive salary depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus.
  • Core hours are 8:30-5:30pm/9am - 6pm - flexibility will be needed to support out of these hours as and when needed.
  • Opportunity to work from home 1 day a week after 6 months
