Overview

Duty Manager, Hotel du Vin. Working across multiple departments, this role gives you the chance to contribute to the F&B and Front Office teams in our bustling hotel. You will be a hands-on manager with experience in a busy Food & Beverage Department and a focus on developing your career from Junior HoD to Senior HoD.

As Duty Manager you will assist in the smooth running of all customer-facing departments—from supporting the breakfast team and managing busy checkout periods to coordinating with the Housekeeping Manager to check bedrooms. Experience in Guest Relations is advantageous, as is an interest in local trends around the hotel. The role provides a pathway to Head of Department responsibilities and beyond within Malmaison or Hotel du Vin. We offer training courses to support professional development and a range of benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the smooth running of customer-facing departments across the hotel, including Front Office, F&B, and Housekeeping coordination.
  • Work with the breakfast team, manage busy checkout periods, and conduct bedroom checks with the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Support ongoing guest relations and stay informed about local market trends to enhance guest experience.
  • Potential progression toward a Head of Department role and beyond within the group.
