Job Title: Design and Technology (DT) Teacher
Location: Bath
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £150 - £200 per day (depending on experience)

This is a confirmed, long-term position covering a planned staff absence. The role offers a fantastic opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 to 5, with the full support of a well-established Technology department.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging, practical DT lessons across KS3–KS5
• Supporting students with coursework and project-based assessments
• Contributing to the development of an innovative and inclusive DT curriculum
• Collaborating with a dynamic team of subject specialists
• Playing a part in whole-school activities and enrichment opportunities

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent UK/recognised overseas teaching qualification
• Strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology
• A creative and structured approach to lesson planning and delivery
• Good classroom management and a passion for hands-on learning
• A willingness to support students of all abilities, including exam groups
• ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply – the school offers excellent support and mentoring.
