Our client is a leading provider of specialist packing and international shipping services to the fine art, antiques, and interior design industry. With offices near Heathrow, the Midlands, and New York, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our growing team as a Driver / Fine Art Handler at our Bilston facility. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the proper handling, packing, and transportation of fine art and furniture.

Responsibilities
  • Proper handling and packing of various types of fine art and furniture
  • Installation / De-Installation of various fine art and furniture
  • Picking up and delivering artworks, including paintings, sculptures, and high-value furniture
  • Driving a truck locally and long-distance between cities and around EuropeInspecting artworks to determine packing requirements
  • Efficient handling of paperwork, including bills of lading, labelling, time-sheets, and condition reports
  • Communicating with the operations team throughout the day
Qualifications
  • Clean driving record
  • Physical fitness and ability to work comfortably on ladders, scaffolding, and / or mechanised lifts
  • Professional appearance and demeanour
  • Class 2 HGV licence (training provided for the right candidate)
  • Willingness to work around Europe
  • Willingness to spend nights away for longer trips
  • Knowledge / experience handling high-end goods is advantageous
