This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business

Legal Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all transport-related legislation and regulations, such as driver hours, vehicle maintenance standards, and operator's licence requirements.
Driver Compliance: Conducting driver licence checks, monitoring adherence to tachograph rules, and managing driver infringements and debriefing.
Vehicle Compliance: Overseeing vehicle maintenance schedules, ensuring vehicles are fit for purpose and roadworthy, and arranging necessary inspections and tests.
Health & Safety: Monitoring and improving health and safety practices within the transport department and the wider operation.
Incident Management: Investigating accidents and other incidents, and implementing corrective actions.
Reporting: Producing and maintaining reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for internal and external stakeholders.
Scheme Management: Managing compliance with specific industry standards and schemes, such as FORS, if applicable to the organisation.
Administrative Duties: Handling associated administrative tasks, managing internal systems, and responding to queries.
Qualifications: National CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) for Transport Managers.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of transport and driver regulations, including tachograph rules and operator licensing.
Skills: Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proven experience in a compliance-focused role within the transport or logistics sector.
Background in a supervisory capacity in Transport would be ideal!
