Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Encourage students to develop performance, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Teach a range of drama techniques, theatrical styles, and practitioners.
  • Support students with devised and scripted work, including exam preparation.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities such as school productions, drama clubs, and performances.
Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, Performing Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Drama at KS3 & KS4.
  • Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for practical learning and student-led creativity.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
