District Nursing Specialist Practitioner Full Time

We are excited to offer opportunities to experienced District Nurses who hold a Specialist Practitioner Qualification to join our forward‑thinking team, with the prospect of being based within a locality team whilst also having the chance to experience our whole service offer, particularly during a supernumerary phase.
WE SUPPORT staff with continuous development throughout their career with bespoke mentorship and both formal and informal courses.

WE SUPPORT evidence‑based practice across all roles with the use of our clinical skills lab, via our Practice Educator team.

WE SUPPORT visible leadership within the teams, with a Team Lead located in every area, and ongoing regular support from Matrons and other senior staff.
The post holder will have responsibility for management of the routine activities of the District Nursing Team, organising workload and staff rotas. Exercising leadership and judgement to ensure good clinical practises and high standards of care are maintained in order to meet service demand.
You will be working within an integrated neighbourhood and be involved with the current changes and developments within the organisation. Assess and develops students and junior staff to reach their potential by designing learning programmes and acting as a Mentor.
