A leading global biopharma company is seeking a Director Privacy for R&D and CPO to ensure compliance with GDPR and HIPAA. This role requires developing privacy strategies and overseeing training initiatives. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, strong expertise in regulatory frameworks, and excellent communication skills. You will lead efforts to integrate privacy deeply into all innovation processes while fostering a culture of privacy awareness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in privacy EU and ex EU.
• Previous experience in implementing Privacy risk controls.
• Proven success in improving internal control frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a privacy strategy.
• Oversee privacy strategy and risk assessments.
• Design training for R&D & CPO staff.

Skills

Expertise in essential regulation guidelines

Broad scientific / pharmaceutical industry background

Good understanding of privacy regulatory framework

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
