Job Description:

The S2P ‘Direct Procurement’ Expert in S/4HANA plays a critical role in overseeing the SAP S4/HANA global implementation (“Digital Core” program). This S2P expert in ‘Direct Procurement’ will lead the S2P DT team in ensuring that deliverables and testing are provided with quality and on time into the transformation process. As a Senior S/4HANA Expert, the S2P ‘Direct Procurement’ Expert will support stakeholders' engagements and perform delivery of the S2P solutions working alongside Common Edge and SIs, focusing on the following topics: Procure to Receipt for Direct Materials, Purchasing Pricing, Return for Purchase Orders, among other processes. The leadership provided by this role will be instrumental in achieving the company’s transformational objectives, ensuring that implementations run smoothly and with the appropriate level of risk management, controls, and security rigour.

What are we looking for?
  • Experience working in sizeable and complex digital transformations in large global organisations resulting in high adoption of new tools

  • Experience with S/4 HANA transformation

  • Demonstrable experience with Source to Pay processes, with a focus on Procure to Pay for Direct Materials, Purchasing Pricing, Return for Purchase Orders, and with new functionalities in these areas in S/4HANA.

  • Proven experience gathering and analysing S2P Business requirements and processes from stakeholders.

  • Knowledge in SAP Best Practices, innovations in S/4HANA (e.g. RPA) and with basic knowledge of integration products from SAP (e.g. MDG, SCC, Ariba Business Network, BTP)

  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.

  • Exceptional communication skills to provide an understanding of S2P processes in S/4HANA to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Analytical abilities with proficiency in using data to make informed product decisions.

What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Responsible for reviewing business requirements during the building and testing phases for Procure to Receipt for Direct Materials, Purchasing Pricing, and Return for Purchase Orders processes

  • Analysing the current S2P technology infrastructure and aligning it with the business strategy for Direct Procurement processes

  • Developing and maintaining the SAP solution strategy, architecture, and integrations

  • Defining and enforcing SAP solution standards and procedures

  • Managing and mitigating risks related to SAP solutions

  • Guide and mentor a team of SAP Consultants

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across all business segments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration throughout the internal transformation process.
