Job summary

An IT Service Provider is seeking a DevOps Engineer for an initial 6-month contract in Sheffield, working 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with DevOps tooling, including AWS, Azure, GitHub, and Ansible. The role entails building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, developing CI/CD pipelines, and automating configurations. Excellent scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python and solid understanding of cloud practices are required. Financial Services experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GitHub, or Ansible.
• Strong experience with CI/CD and automation tooling.
• Scripting experience in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Solid understanding of cloud and DevOps best practices.
• Experience in Financial Services is desirable.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for:
