The position includes a 12-month contract with a competitive pay rate of £18.93 per hour on a rotating shift pattern.

Shift Pattern: Shift premium applied. 24/7 shift pattern. 4 nights, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 3 nights on, 2 days off, 4 days on, 8 days off. The cycle is 28 days with 14 days scheduled.
As a Development & Research Engine Test Technician, you will support engineers in technical investigations covering current and future products, components, materials, and processes. This is a hands‑on role focused on engine test execution, data quality, and operational excellence - ideal for someone looking to build deep technical expertise in engine development and testing.
The site designs, tests, and manufactures 0.5L to 18L engines used across a wide range of applications, including marine, industrial, power generation, and rail. Sustainability and future‑focused energy solutions are central to ongoing development programs.
