Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 plus package plus bonus

An established Developer with an excellent name in the industry and certainly one of the more desirable Developers to work with urgently require a Development Manager to join their thriving and busy Land & Development team.
The role will be to Develop Manage a large scale residential scheme of 120 units, in addition there will also be another scheme starting soon which is also over 100 units and much more in the pipelines to start. The role will be controlling the contract, planning and delivery stages on private sale housing, but typically works in partnership with Housing Associations and public sector organisations. These schemes are often taken as joint ventures with partner organisations.
The role will involve close working with the in-house legal department, finance, pre-contract, commercial and technical teams, providing professional support throughout the development stages. The role will be responsible for New Business, Land, Planning and Design, Project Management and Sales and Marketing with the role focusing on Land, Planning and Development/ Project Management.
In addition the role may involve managing future development bids to secure further pipeline work that would then need to be delivered once these projects were secured.

The ideal person will be an experienced Development Manager who has had exposure to “New Business Management” in unlocking opportunities with HA’s/ RP’s/ Public Sector Organisations, in addition be able to value/ quantify opportunity and take through to delivery. Be commercially aware, results driven, organised, motivational, able to develop people and have focus on the tasks in hand.
