Our Client is a growing UK engineering and technology business delivering innovative, sustainable infrastructure projects. They are seeking a Design Engineer specialising in DC microgrid power distribution to design and implement tailored power and connectivity solutions for complex, large-scale environments.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality technical designs, specifications, schedules, CAD drawings, and documentation for advanced DC microgrid systems.
• Manage projects from initial site surveys through to commissioning, delivering reliable, efficient, and sustainable power systems that meet project requirements.
• Carry out engineering calculations, optimise system performance, and ensure designs meet safety, performance, and compliance standards.
• Support commissioning activities, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and develop solutions to overcome technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex engineering projects with strong technical skills in DC microgrid power distribution.
• Proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Office, and engineering analysis tools.
