Design Engineer – Sheffield – Permanent – Growing Manufacturer

Lodestone Recruitment is working with a long-established engineering manufacturer in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a Junior Design Engineer due to continued growth.

The Role

• Producing 3D CAD layouts & detailed drawings in Inventor
• Supporting engineering, production & maintenance teams
• Taking site measurements and inspecting components
• Assisting with procurement, project admin & spares
• Supporting build, installation & commissioning of equipment

What We're Looking For

• Mechanical Engineering qualification
• CAD experience and must have experience in Inventor software
• Understanding of fabrication, machining & assemblies
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Willingness to learn and work proactively
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
