Contract: Full Time
Hours: 39 hours per week
Salary: £30,856.62 per annum
Annual Leave entitlement: 33 days inclusive of bank holidays

At The Camden Society, we believe people with a learning disability should be leaders in society. We are looking for a Deputy Support Manager to assist the Support Manager in leading teams, to deliver person-centered support that meets regulatory, contractual, and organisational requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Mentor teams and coach support staff to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support practice leadership to be developed, recognised and reflected in all we do.
  • Work on shift as part of the working rota and act as a role model of best practice.
  • Assist people to design their support plans, help with rota management, and maintain records.
  • Address concerns, conduct audits, and deputise for the Support Manager when needed.
  • Aim to empower individuals, promote inclusion, rights & independence, while adhering to policies and acting as an ambassador for the company.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Relevant Health and Social Care qualification at Level 3 or above (England) or SCQF 7 or above (Scotland).
  • Proven experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
  • Leadership or coaching experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and care regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Confidence in using digital systems (e.g. Excel, care planning software).
  • Flexible working hours, willingness to travel locally and work across multiple locations.
