Responsibilities
  • Leading with purpose - Supporting the Nursery Manager in guiding, motivating, and developing the nursery team.
  • Putting children first - Providing exceptional care, fostering curiosity, and creating stimulating learning environments.
  • Empowering staff - Coaching and supervising nursery practitioners to bring out the best in every member of the team.
  • Inspiring learning - Contributing to the planning and delivery of exciting activities that support children's development.
  • Building strong partnerships - Engaging parents with warmth and professionalism, keeping them informed and involved.
  • Safeguarding at heart - Ensuring a safe, secure, and nurturing environment in line with all safeguarding standards.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a management or leadership role within a childcare setting (essential).
  • A recognised Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above highly desirable).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Previous experience working directly with children in a nursery or early education environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A valid driving licence is desirable but not essential.
  • Most importantly - a genuine passion for childcare and early years education.
