Job description

We are seeking a hands‑on, motivated Depot Team Leader to join our Rental Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will manage and support the Laundry and Bench Engineer Teams, ensuring decontamination and repair processes are delivered within SLA's. You'll play a key part in meeting and exceeding commitments to both internal and external customers, while maintaining efficient processes in line with company guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations and compliance within the Rental Depot
  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety procedures by all staff
  • Collaborate with the depot network to optimize rental inventory and product re‑supply
  • Investigate and report quality issues using RCA and CAPA processes
  • Lead Depot Team Leader forums to drive best practice sharing
  • Monitor customer damage reports and manage contract protocols
  • Control and report on KPI's and SLA's in conjunction with management
  • Plan holidays and cover to ensure operational continuity
  • Approve overtime claims and manage costs within budget
  • Ensure compliance with annual Quality and Compliance audits
  • Manage spares inventory and conduct regular cycle counts
  • Engage, train, and develop team members using SMART principles
  • Set and drive team performance through realistic KPIs
  • Act as point of contact for facility IT issues and SAP downtime
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, absence & performance management, and training
  • Build awareness of customer contracts and facilitate visits
  • Champion company values and foster strong relationships across departments
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Experience in medical device, logistics, or healthcare industry (preferred)
  • Logical, practical problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workloads
  • Basic technical knowledge (advantageous)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong people management and coaching skills
  • Knowledge of Asset Tracking Systems

  • Must live within reasonable distance of the core area of work
  • Willingness to work outside normal hours (evenings, weekends, bank holidays)
