Overview

Self-employed Core Delivery Driver

As one of our Self-Employed Core Delivery Drivers you’ll enjoy freedom, flexibility and better financial rewards, plus all the support and benefits of being part of our wider Yodel team. You don’t need any experience, and the more you deliver, the more you earn.

• Competitive rates for each parcel you deliver or collect — Typically, our Delivery Drivers can earn anything between £18 - £20 p/h (paid per parcel).
• Daily & Weekly Payment Options — Flexible payment options to access earnings from the next day via an app provided by our early access partner (Onsi), or join the weekly payment cycle after 4 weeks of completed deliveries.
• We have plenty of parcels to deliver — There are plenty of parcels to deliver; parcels weigh up to 15 kg and vary in size. You can realistically deliver and collect between 16-25 parcels an hour, 6 days a week.
• We’ll give you freedom and flexibility — Plan your own route or use our app with built-in optimisation to plan routes and liaise with customers.
• We’ll offer regular work in the same area, 6 days a week — Deliver for major retailers; stay local and get to know the roads and customers.
• We’ll develop and support you — You’ll have independence as a self-employed driver, with support from our expert team and a Yodel representative.

The Life of a Core Delivery Driver

Each day is what you make it. You can plan your own route, and at each delivery or doorstep, use your mobile to scan parcels to ensure they’re received by the customer. We can arrange daily parcel collections or, for rural areas, delivery to you.
