Job description

Overview

Part Time driver and logistics support role - minimum 24 hours a week / Monday to Friday (with weekend work & some early mornings). This role may require driving the company vehicle to deliver and collect items as required by the Company. The role also involves providing logistics support, including (but not limited to): installing and clearing weekly contract flowers and event flowers/materials at various venues; keeping the business premises tidy; and collaborating with the team of florists across the shop and studio to support logistics for specific projects.

You will submit your valid clean driver’s license to the Company on the start date of your employment. The Company expects employees who drive company vehicles to: drive safely and sober; respect traffic laws and fellow drivers; wear glasses or contacts when driving if applicable; document any driving-related expenses (e.g. fuel); check the vehicle regularly to ensure petrol, tire pressure and all vehicle fluids are at appropriate levels; report any damages or problems with the company vehicles to the Directors as soon as possible; and avoid parking in restricted areas, blocking entrances and engaging in other traffic violations that may result in fines.
