Overview

Data Analyst – 6-month contract (starting ASAP). Location: Wallington (office-based, with the option to go hybrid after 2 months). Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am–5pm. Pay Rate: £15 – £20 per hour (depending on experience).

What you’ll be doing
  • Producing accurate and well-formatted reports for both operational (BAU) and ad-hoc needs.
  • Validating and cleaning data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Using Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Conditional Formatting, Charting) to analyse and present data.
  • Translating vague requests into clear, actionable reporting outputs.
  • Identifying anomalies or trends in the data and highlighting meaningful insights.
  • Communicating findings in a clear, professional way to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Handling sensitive datasets with confidentiality and professionalism.
What we’re looking for
  • Excel proficiency (intermediate level or above is essential).
  • Comfortable working with large datasets (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience with SQL database reporting tools is an advantage but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality reporting.
  • Clear communication skills and the confidence to explain insights simply.
  • Professionalism and respect for the sensitivity of data.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to the role and work independently without needing extensive training.
