Overview

Do you have a passion for turning raw data into meaningful insight? Are you an experienced data professional who thrives on building scalable models that drive real business impact?

At Stonewater, we are embarking on a major transformation in how we manage, use, and think about data. As our new Data Modeller (Data Modeller), you’ll take a lead role in this journey, designing, implementing, and maintaining the data models that underpin our strategic decision-making and day-to-day performance.

You’ll not only bring technical expertise in data architecture and modelling, but you will also help drive a cultural shift across the business, embedding data and insight at the heart of everything we do.

What you’ll bring
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Modeller or in a similar role.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling techniques, including normalization and denormalization.
  • Clear communication for complex data challenges to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of relational database management systems (SQL Server, MySQL) and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
  • Advanced SQL skills for querying and manipulating complex data sets.
  • Ability to analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Solid understanding of data governance principles, including data quality, lineage, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and tools for data integration.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality framework.

Appointment to this role will be subject to satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
