A local GP practice in East Midlands is seeking a Data Quality Administrator to support a busy team through data input and management tasks. The ideal candidate must possess strong IT and communication skills, preferably with experience in a GP setting and knowledge of SystmOne software. Responsibilities include coding clinical data, monitoring patient systems, and initiating data quality improvement projects. The role is full-time, with a commitment to accuracy and patient care at the forefront of operations.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent IT, administration, organisation and communication skills and who is committed to promoting and providing excellent patient centred services. You will be someone who enjoys working within a team and you will be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in administration. Previous experience of working in a GP Surgery with knowledge of the SystmOne clinical system, medical terminology, read coding and the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QoF) is preferred. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

Park Lane Surgery is a small, but busy GP practice; based in the rural area of Allestree, Derby, with over 8400 patients and 4 GP partners.

Job Summary: To be responsible for undertaking a widerange of data inputting duties in support of the multidisciplinary team. Dutiescan include but are not limited to, read coding information from patientsclinical records, correspondence from other care service providers and othersources on the practice clinical system, adhering to current policy andprocedure.

Inthe performance of the duties outlines in this Job Description, the post-holdermay have access to confidential information relating to patients and theircarers, practice staff and other healthcare workers. Thepost-holder will assist in promoting and maintaining their own and othershealth, safety and security as defined in the practice handbook. This willinclude:

Identifyingthe risks involved in work activities and undertaking such activities in a way that manages those risks.
Makingeffective use of training to update knowledge and skills.
Usingappropriate infection control procedures, maintaining work areas in a tidy andsafe way and free from hazards.
Activelyreporting of health and safety hazards and infection hazards immediately whenrecognised.
Keepingown work areas and general / patient areas generally clean, assisting in the maintenance of general standards of cleanliness consistent with the scope ofthe job holders role.
