Park Lane Surgery are seeking a Data Quality Administrator to work at our friendly, busy practice.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent IT, administration, organisation and communication skills and who is committed to promoting and providing excellent patient centred services. You will be someone who enjoys working within a team and you will be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in administration. Previous experience of working in a GP Surgery with knowledge of the SystmOne clinical system, medical terminology, read coding and the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QoF) is preferred. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

JOBDESCRIPTION DATA ADMINISTRATOR

JOB TITLE: DataAdministrator

ACCOUNTABLE TO: AssistantPractice Manager

HOURS: 37 hours per week

Job Summary: To be responsible for undertaking a widerange of data inputting duties in support of the multidisciplinary team. Dutiescan include but are not limited to, read coding information from patientsclinical records, correspondence from other care service providers and othersources on the practice clinical system, adhering to current policy andprocedure.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Codingdata on SystmOne clinical system
  • Extractingthe required data from clinical correspondence and inputting the data into thepatients electronic healthcare record
  • Codingall secondary care (hospital) letters
  • Monitoringpatient call and recall systems
  • Maintaineffective security of data all times
  • Supportthe team in the effective use of searches, audits and recalls
  • Supportthe team in the use of the clinical system
  • Provideguidance in trouble shooting when requested
  • Configuresearches and interpret data for audit purposes
  • Summarisepatients notes when requested
  • Initiatedata quality improvement projects
  • Collatethe required data for reporting purposes
  • Ensurenew patient records are received electronically and imported onto the clinicalsystem
  • Processpatient online applications as required
  • Coderesults and upload data as required

Secondary Duties:

  • Partakein audit as directed by the audit lead
  • Assistin the administration and coding of safeguarding documentation ensuringtimescales are met
  • Assistwith queries regarding safeguarding matters and refer appropriately
  • ReliefSecretarial support including typing referrals and use of e-Referral system.
  • Supportand cover for reception team as required
