Overview
New Resource Recruitment is proud to be working with a specialist manufacturer of sustainable living solutions in their search for a Customer Services Coordinator. This office-based role plays a key part in delivering high levels of customer care through accurate and timely sales order processing, supporting contracted delivery schedules. You\'ll work within a close-knit team, reporting to the Customer Service Manager and collaborating closely with external sales and technical teams to ensure excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality customer service, handling standard and complex enquiries while ensuring clear communication across departments.
- Manage and update customers on order progress; coordinate internally with Logistics and other teams to fulfil service requirements.
- Support assigned customer accounts, escalate wider issues (e.g. pricing discrepancies, account setups) to Account Managers, and process relevant credit notes including rebates and machinery support.
- Maintain accurate records in SAP and CRM systems, including weekly reports on unresolved issues.
- Collaborate with Credit Control to address account concerns and help identify pricing errors when needed.
- Uphold professional standards in conduct, organisation, and customer confidentiality.
- Share updates within the team to support collaboration and take on additional duties as required.
Ideal Candidate
- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths; NVQ in Customer Service desirable.
- Proven experience in fast-paced administrative and customer-facing roles (in person, by phone, or email); experience in manufacturing or similar environments desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a confident, polite phone manner.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable under pressure.
- Proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing time and shifting priorities effectively.
- Commercially aware, confident in problem-solving, and decision-making within company procedures.
- Competent in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word); experience with SAP/CRM systems is a plus.
- Professional, trustworthy, and collaborative team player with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
