Overview

The Role and Team

This position involves working 32 hours per week, any 4 out of 6 days including bank holidays.

Our drivers are the face of our business, and their interaction with customers is crucial to our success.

You will deliver frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals, bringing sunshine to our customers' doors regardless of the weather. You should enjoy meeting people and be willing to go above and beyond expectations.

You will also occasionally work in our coldstore at -20ºC. Protective clothing and breaks to warm up will be provided.

You will work as part of a team, helping the office and picking teams, with opportunities for movement between teams for flexibility and development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to customers punctually
• Pick orders in the coldstore
• Use our app to update deliveries
• Provide excellent customer service
• Inspect your van before shifts
• Drive safely and responsibly
• Maintain and refuel your van
• Communicate with the office about delays or issues
• Maintain customer confidentiality
• Assist the office and picking teams as needed
• Report safety, stock, and vehicle issues
• Support team members during absences or holidays

Qualifications/Personal Qualities

• Experience in customer service
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (held for at least 3 years)
• Basic computer skills including phone apps
• Stable employment history
• Basic secondary education
• Experience in multi-drop delivery, care roles, or warehousing is desirable
• Health & Safety awareness
• Friendly, reliable, and approachable
• Good attendance and punctuality
