Salary & Benefits

We offer a salary from £25,524 - £28,851 per annum depending on experience.

Location

This role will initially be based in Bradford but we’re moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in Summer 2026, so you’ll be based there in the future, with a hybrid working arrangement in place, a mix of office and home working. Typically we work 2 x days in the office per week.

Work type

This is a permanent role working full time 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, working between a working window of 8:00am –6:00pm.

Developer Services works with commercial developers and customers to ensure any new developments have the correct water and wastewater plans in place. You will be the first point of contact for individual customers and developers across both Clean and Sewerage services and see them efficiently through our processes, ensuring we provide an excellent customer service.

Where you fit in

As Customer Advisor you will provide an excellent customer service to Developer Services customers, handling all our customers calls in relation to clean water services. You will provide customers with answers to their enquiry at the point of contact where possible or redirect them to the wider department for resolution. You will handle calls from customers regarding all aspects of the connection journey.

You will organise your day‑day workload and update our IT systems effectively. You will work alongside colleagues in Developer Services to provide an excellent service to our customers.

What skills & qualifications you will need?

You will have excellent customer service skills, with previous experience in call handling (inbound and outbound calls and after call work).

You will have previous experience of managing escalated customer queries and be an excellent communicator. You will adopt a customer focused approach at all times.

You will have excellent influencing skills, able to build up effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders as you will be working closely with our customers and colleagues across Developer Services.

You will have good IT skills, competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

Recruitment Process

If successful for the role, you will be required to undergo pre-employment checks that will include a Basic Disclosure Check, carried out through a Third-Party Company, prior to commencing employment.
