Overview

The Curriculum Manager for ECBE will contribute to the operational management, development and performance of all aspects of the College delivery of teaching, learning and assessment across all provision. The role supports the College Group's quality improvement strategies under the OFSTED framework and promotes a culture of continuous improvement through self-assessment and other quality initiatives. The Curriculum Manager will develop Teaching, Learning and Assessment improvement strategies to achieve an outstanding student experience and will lead performance management of direct reports to achieve consistently high outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and contribute to the operational management, development and performance of College delivery of teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Implement the College Group\'s quality improvement strategies in line with OFSTED requirements.
  • Develop and implement Teaching, Learning and Assessment improvement strategies to deliver an outstanding student experience.
  • Lead and be responsible for the performance management of direct reports to achieve high outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Hold a teaching qualification or equivalent
  • Have a track record of operational leadership and management in a Further Education setting
  • Have experience of supporting the development of staff in vocational areas and in learning and teaching
  • Have experience of recruitment, induction and guidance of students
  • Have experience contributing to effective curriculum planning, design and development
  • Have experience leading and managing staff and effective budget management
  • Have experience in leading and/or coordinating enhancements in quality in curriculum delivery
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Have a commitment to meeting the needs of learners, employers and communities served by the College
  • Have a strong commitment to the College\'s values, mission and equality and diversity for staff and students

Salary: £47,391.00 - £49,630.00 per annum including London Weighting Allowance. Permanent position with the United Colleges Group. In exceptional circumstances a specialist market supplement may be available, subject to industrial and teaching experience up to a maximum of £5,000 in addition to the salary listed.
