Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a safe radiology service through specialist knowledge.
• Organise rotational staff and resources effectively.
• Ensure patient needs are met according to Trust and National targets.
• Lead the general radiography workload ensuring protocols are in place.
• Provide leadership and direct line management to rotational Radiographers.
• Assist with the recruitment and retention of staff.
• Maintain a sensitive approach to all patients.
• Develop professional expertise via continuous professional development.
• Rotate throughout the department providing expert knowledge.
• Participate in on-call and out of hours shifts.
