Job description
Overview

The CT Department at Addenbrooke’s Hospital (Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) is recruiting for a motivated Radiographer who wants to further their career as a permanent Band 6 CT Radiographer. You will carry out a wide range of CT examinations as part of the CT team and the multi-disciplinary team across the Trust. The role requires rotation around all scanning locations, flexibility to work long days when required (totalling 37.5 hours per week), and participation in the out of hours service provision.

You will have DCR (R) or a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, proven participation in CPD, and current HCPC Registration. Experience in cross-sectional imaging is beneficial, however full and comprehensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out a wide range of CT examinations as part of the CT team and the multi-disciplinary team across the Trust.
  • Rotate around all scanning locations and be flexible to work long days and out of hours as required (37.5 hours per week).
  • Participate in the provision of the CT service at CUH and off-site facilities at Sawston and Ely Community Diagnostic Centres.
  • Maintain the highest standards of CT imaging and patient care at all times.
  • Contribute to service development in collaboration with the Trust and University links, and keep up to date with imaging protocols and new techniques.
Qualifications
  • DCR (R) or a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • Proven CPD participation and current HCPC Registration.
  • Experience in cross-sectional imaging is beneficial; full training will be provided where needed.
Location and Settings
  • CT Department at CUH with on-site scanners, plus an off-site scanner at Sawston GP practice and a Community Diagnostic Centre in Ely.
