Job summary

A bespoke travel company is seeking an experienced Cruise Travel Consultant to join their new branch in Cirencester. You will create and tailor luxury cruises for clients, work towards sales targets, and build strong customer relationships. This full-time role offers a salary between £25,500 to £26,500 plus commission. You should have 2-4 years’ experience in travel sales, preferably in luxury tailor-made travel. The role will allow for hybrid working and other exciting incentives and opportunities.

Job description

We are exclusively recruiting for a unique and inspirational travel company and they are seeking a very experienced Cruise Travel Consultant to join their team. This Bespoke Tour Operator believe in a highly personalised service using their team of Travel Advisors' knowledge & personalities, to understand every individuals' travel needs whether big or small, simple or complex. In March they will be opening up a lovely, modern branch located in Cirencester so that you can create and book luxury cruises or your clientele and offering your personal travel experience face to face and/or appointment only.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

• To create and tailor make cruise holidays for your own customers/clientele
• To create new revenue streams and sales for the business through new lead generation; you'll be experienced at sourcing leads.
• Devising and managing in-person / face-to-face promotional opportunities to increase exposure of the business, such as pop-up events and showcases.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers.
• Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the business, including liaising with customers about changes and making necessary amendments.
• Effectively performing administrative duties and follow processes accurately.
• Ability to work towards individual Travel Consultant targets and team sales targets.
• An ability to generate leads and managing them effectively through to conversion.
• Enthusiasm and positive attitude with a commitment to contribute to the growth of the business.

EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:

• Minimum 2-4 years' experience in a travel sales role (luxury tailormade would be preferred)
• Be able to travel to the lovely Cirencester on a hybrid basis (fully remote for specialist consultants)
• Excellent travel product knowledge with a good working knowledge of tour operator systems.
• Genuine interest and first-hand experience in long-haul destinations.

PACKAGE:

• Salary: £25,500 to £26,500 + generous commission scheme
• Days of Work: FULL TIME 5 DAYS Monday to Sunday (weekend on a fair rota basis)
• Incentives: Receive any rewards, vouchers, free nights & incentives offered from tour operators or suppliers.
• The successful candidate will be given opportunities to attend FAM Trips, supplier training events and rewards events when availability arise.
