An established finance team, based in Peterhead, are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join the team on a 12-month maternity-cover contract. In this role, you will manage the full credit control process, ensuring timely payment of overdue invoices, and building strong client relationships.

Main duties and responsibilities
  • Actively following up on overdue payments and helping to collect outstanding debt.
  • Supporting the team in meeting cash collection targets by ensuring debts are paid in a timely manner
  • Maintaining the sales ledger, ensuring all entries are correct and up to date.
  • Communicating confidently with customers and working closely with internal teams.
  • Regularly reviewing customer credit limits and agreed payment terms.
  • Ensuring all monthly financial processing tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Following all established credit management policies and procedures.
  • Preparing and distributing customer statements and written communications.
