Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Newcastle
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £100 - £130 per day (depending on experience)

TeacherActive are looking for a Cover Supervisor in Newcastle. We have an opportunity to work within local schools in the Newcastle area. We support onboarding and aim to help schools create a culture of success and positivity towards learning.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver day-to-day, short-term or long-term cover in education as a Cover Supervisor.
  • Supervise pupils and deliver a high standard of professionalism within the role.
  • Support teachers to supervise students and ensure tasks set by the teacher are completed, offering any additional help where needed.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Education (desirable)
  • Experience supervising children within a school setting
  • Experience working within a primary or secondary setting
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Excellent classroom management
  • Behavioural management experience (desirable)
