Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Burnley
Salary: £145-£150 per day
Contract: Full-time & Part-time. Temporary.

Are you passionate about supporting the education of young people and ensuring that lessons run smoothly in the absence of regular teachers?

Aspire People are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a well-established school in Burnley.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
  2. Ensure that students remain on task and complete the work set.
  3. Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
  4. Provide support to students as needed, encouraging engagement with their work.
  5. Report any issues or concerns to the relevant teaching staff or leadership.
What We're Looking For:
  1. Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting (desirable).
  2. Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  3. Ability to adapt quickly and remain calm under pressure.
  4. A positive attitude and a proactive approach to ensuring a productive learning environment.
  5. A strong understanding of the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
