Post: Cover Supervisor

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary Range: SCP 16-18, £30,518.00 - £31,537.00 FTE (£23,683.41 - £24,474.20 pro rata salary)

Working Type: Part Time (32.5 hours / 39 weeks; 45.942 paid weeks)

Base: Essa Academy, Lever Edge Lane, Bolton, BL3 3HH

Salary amounts quoted are from 1 September to 31 August and are subject to equated salary adjustment if you commence part way through the academic year.

Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. It is an offence to apply if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

Responsibilities

• Essa Academy are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to work under the guidance of teaching staff and within an agreed system of supervision.
• Implement work programs with individuals or groups in or out of the classroom.
• Manage student behaviour and supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
