We are currently seeking a keen and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our school. Cover Supervisors play a very important role in the school by leading classes and facilitating learning in the event of a teacher being absent from school. The role is very varied and involves delivering cover lessons that have been planned by subject specialists, using the resources that a teacher has provided. The role may suit a recent graduate keen to broaden their skillset and possibly consider a career in teaching. Alternatively, the role may suit someone who has prior experience of working as a Learning Support Assistant, and is keen for a new challenge! Either way, the successful applicant will be adept at communicating with both students and staff, will have a positive "can-do" mindset, and will be flexible and able to think on their feet. They will not be phased by working with teenagers! In return for your hard work and commitment, we offer a highly supportive working environment, students who are keen to learn, and outstanding continued professional development opportunities, including access to NVQs and Apprenticeships.
