Private Client – Court of Protection
To forge long-term relationships that have a positive impact on our people, our clients, our business partners, and our community.
We do not think there is a magic formula to the Higgs culture. The key is to listen to and respect our people. If we take care of our people and our people take care of our clients, then everything we want as a firm will take care of itself. We are friendly and open to new ideas.
Higgs core values are “CLEAR” – Care, Legacy, Excellence, Authenticity, Relationships
As a Legal Assistant you will be working within the Court of Protection team which is part of the Private Client Department. The team manages the affairs and makes decisions on behalf of people who lack the capacity to do so for themselves. Your empathy, quick thinking, attention to detail and accuracy are vital attributes. The Court of Protection team is growing and you will need to have a broad understanding of legal matters, transactions, client requests and the demands of your team often connected to vulnerable clients and sensitive or complex issues.
Higgs offers hybrid working wherever possible. Our Higgs’ Best FIT (flexible, inclusive, together) principles are designed to ensure that people can complete their best work from the most appropriate location.
