Job summary

A supportive community organization in Norwich is seeking a Fundraising Manager to design and implement strategies for legacy giving and corporate fundraising. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement strategies for legacy giving, corporate fundraising, and major donor engagement.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with donors, businesses, and community partners.
  • Create impactful campaigns and events that inspire giving and showcase the difference supporters make.
  • Monitor performance, report on progress, and continually refine approaches using data insights.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to amplify fundraising impact across the organisation.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in fundraising, business development, or relationship management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and inspire a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to write compelling proposals and deliver persuasive presentations.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of legacy fundraising, corporate giving, and donor stewardship principles.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Written references will be obtained for the successful candidate that will cover the previous 5 years of employment. The successful candidate will be advised that an offer of employment is subject to us obtaining a minimum of two references which are satisfactory to YMCA Norfolk. Character references may be sought where it is not possible to obtain employment references.
