Are you highly organised, detail-driven and motivated by making a meaningful contribution to high-quality governance? We are seeking an exceptional Corporate Governance Officer to join our Corporate Governance Team and help ensure that our Board, its committees, and key governance processes run seamlessly and effectively. This is a pivotal role supporting the smooth running of the Trust's corporate governance arrangements. You will provide high-quality secretariat and administrative support to the Trust Board, Board Committees, and senior governance leads. A typical week includes preparing agendas, supporting meeting planning cycles, producing accurate and professional minutes, maintaining action logs, coordinating governance information, and ensuring compliance with governance processes and regulatory frameworks. This role demands outstanding judgement, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with absolute professionalism. You must be able to analyse complex information, interpret governance requirements, and problem-solve autonomously. You will play a vital role at the heart of the organisation, contributing directly to strengthening governance, enhancing Board effectiveness, and ultimately supporting safer, better care for patients.
