Job description

Overview

We are recruiting a full time permanent Contracts Manager to join one of our client's senior management teams, with all works based in Shetland. The client is a family owned private business offering Civil Engineering Contractors, Plant Hire, Haulage, Quarry Operator, Ready Mixed Concrete Suppliers, Demolition, and Waste Management services. This role is to manage the client's Civil Engineering contracts division. Currently they have 3 main contracts working in the utilities and oil and gas sectors, with SSE as the main client handling utility trenches, ducting and substations. Support with relocation to Shetland or extended periods away from home will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage the client's Civil Engineering contracts division.
• Oversee 3 main contracts in utilities and oil and gas sectors, including work for SSE (utility trenches, ducting and substations).
• Collaborate with senior management to ensure contract performance, compliance, and delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure contract requirements are met.

Location and Relocation

Based in Shetland. The client will support relocation or extended periods away from home as part of the role.

Compensation

Initial rate and salary can be negotiated.
