Job summary

A leading engineering resource company is seeking an experienced TIG 141 Welder for a 3-6 month contract in Deeside, Cheshire. The role involves precision welding and fabrication of stainless steel pipework and ducting. Successful candidates will have strong knowledge of welding techniques and the ability to read technical drawings. This position offers a competitive rate of £24.00 per hour, increasing to £29.00 per hour for PAYE rates including holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a TIG 141 Welder in stainless steel pipework.
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and welding procedures.
• Commitment to producing high-quality welds.

Responsibilities

• Carry out TIG 141 welding on stainless steel pipework and ducting.
• Inspect and test welds to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with pipefitters and engineers on site.

Skills

Experience in TIG 141 welding

Knowledge of welding techniques

Ability to read technical drawings

Attention to detail

Education

Valid welder coding / welding certification in TIG 141

CSCS or equivalent card
