Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Grounds Maintenance at Supervisor level.
  • Proven track record in horticulture and team leadership.
  • Must possess a full clean UK Driving License.
  • PA1/PA2/PA6 Spraying Certificates are advantageous.
  • Valid DBS dated within the last 6 months preferred.

Contract Supervisor

Location: Northampton, NN4 9RR

Salary: Up to £31,500 dependent on experience

Contract type: Permanent, Full Time

Working hours: 40 hours per week, between 07:00 & 17:00 Monday to Friday

About the role

Manpower are looking for an experienced and dedicated Contract Supervisor to join our Clients team in Northampton, supervising grounds maintenance works on a number of local school contracts. The Contract Supervisor will work alongside and coordinate the experienced team of 12, managing and ensuring the high-quality upkeep of green spaces, landscaped lawns, hedges, trees and outdoor spaces. They will also ensure all related tasks are completed efficiently, safely and to the highest horticultural standards. Requirements
  • Previous experience in the Grounds Maintenance industry, at Supervisor level or equivalent, with a proven track record in horticulture and leading teams.
  • A professional attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Full clean UK Driving License and IT literacy is essential.
  • PA1/PA2/PA6 Spraying Certificates advantageous.
  • A valid DBS, dated within the last 6 months (enhanced preferable).
