Job description
About Us

Superyachts.com is the definitive luxury yachting and lifestyle website and a leading independent online resource for high-net-worth individuals seeking to charter, purchase, build or refit a superyacht. Reaching a global audience, we promote a wide range of businesses across the superyacht and wider luxury industries through our industry-leading digital platform. In addition to media and advertising, we create high-end marketing content in-house, placing us in a unique position as a true one-stop shop for clients looking to elevate their brand presence within the Superyacht Industry. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a driven and personable Content Writer and Creator to join our talented team and support our ongoing success.

The Role

We’re looking for an outstanding Content Writer and Creator to join our team in a full-time, permanent role (following a successful 3 month contract out period)—offering a rare opportunity to shape editorial storytelling at the forefront of the global superyacht and luxury lifestyle industry. As a business that combines world-class media with tailored marketing content, Superyachts.com is uniquely positioned as a one-stop shop for clients seeking to elevate their profile within the superyacht world. As Content Writer and Creator, you will sit at the centre of this offering—driving editorial excellence while collaborating closely with commercial, video, and marketing teams to deliver impactful, multi-platform storytelling.

In this role, you will lead and elevate our editorial output across all channels, shaping the narrative direction of the Superyachts.com brand while staying hands-on with writing, editing, and content creation. You will manage a small, talented editorial team, ensuring a continuous stream of engaging, high-quality stories that reflect our authority, creativity, and luxury positioning. This is a role for someone who thrives on adventure—covering international industry events, attending press trips, and traveling the world to capture the most compelling stories, destinations, and experiences in the global superyacht community.

A key focus of the role will be contributing to the Dominican Republic Superyacht Rendezvous, where you will lead editorial coverage and feature writing in the lead‑up to the event and on location. This includes crafting destination-led features, industry insight pieces, and event-focused storytelling that builds anticipation, supports partners and sponsors, and positions the Dominican Republic as an emerging luxury superyacht destination. You will also be responsible for the event website, developing all written content and overseeing its structure and presentation to ensure a cohesive, engaging, and on‑brand digital presence.

Responsibilities

Editorial Leadership: Develop and manage the editorial calendar, ensuring the delivery of compelling, high-quality stories each week.

Dominican Republic Superyacht Rendezvous:

  • Website Ownership: Take full ownership of the Dominican Republic Superyacht Rendezvous event website, including writing all copy and building out the site to deliver a cohesive, engaging, and on‑brand digital experience that supports partners, sponsors, and event objectives.
  • Social Media & Short-Form Video: Lead social media storytelling for the Dominican Republic Superyacht Rendezvous, including planning, creating, and publishing short‑form video content and reels that build anticipation, capture on‑location moments, and extend the event’s reach.
  • Event & Destination Coverage: Lead all written coverage for the Dominican Republic Superyacht Rendezvous and associated industry events, from pre‑event build‑up and on‑location reporting to post‑event storytelling.

Team Management: Oversee and support a small editorial team, providing clear direction, constructive feedback, and motivation to maintain exceptional standards.

Collaboration & Content Creation: Work closely with writers, videographers, and commercial teams to brainstorm, write, and produce standout content across platforms, with a strong focus on DR Superyacht Rendezvous storytelling.

Project & Film Development: Contribute to larger video and film projects, including storytelling concepts, scripting, and shot lists, particularly in support of DR Superyacht Rendezvous promotion and coverage.

Content Curation: Source and select high-quality images and video to enhance editorial features and branded content, including event and destination-led content for the Dominican Republic.

Editing & Review: Ensure all published content is accurate, polished, and aligned with Superyachts.com’s brand voice and editorial values.

There will be a multi-stage process for interviewing this role. If shortlisted, you will be required to take a short video interview, followed by a short written test and final in person interview if successful.
