The Office of Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) in GDS leads the whole of the UK public sector to do technology well by providing know-how and tools to technologists and foster digital communities. A strong priority of the overalldigital and technology vision is to keep our digital services resilient to cyber security and technology risks and their consequences.
You will be a Content Designer in the Security, Tech Risk and Resilience team in GDS, where you will create and iterate technical security content. You will support the development of Secure by Design and other relevant content to help us improve the sharing of security knowledge and expertise across government. The content will help the government continually improve its cyber security capability and help teams meet common standards.You will work closely with experienced cyber security practitioners interviewing people and carrying out research to develop guidance and blog posts. You will be working across multiple cross - government teams, while writing on a range of different subjects, from the highly technical to the more general.
