Container Transport Planner
Garston, Liverpool
£28,000 – £34,000 per year (depending on experience)
35 hours per week, rotating shifts: 06:00 – 13:00 or 12:00 – 19:00, Monday to Friday (very occasional Saturday morning shift)

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of container movements and documentation
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate container transport operations to ensure timely deliveries
  • Monitor transport schedules and adapt plans in response to operational changes or delays
  • Liaise with drivers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Handle administrative tasks, including reporting, data entry, and communication with stakeholders
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational issues
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide support to the wider team during peak periods or operational challenges
